Let’s go camping!🚀 This weekend, 11th - 12th Let’s go camping!🚀

This weekend, 11th - 12th, we will be camping at the beach in Badagry, Lagos.

Is this your vibe?🥳

Comment BADAGRY and I will DM you the full details!🚀

#ijeawelebloggrouptrip
I took a day trip from Lagos to Badagry, and here I took a day trip from Lagos to Badagry, and here are some of the highlights:

🔸I took a boat ride to Gberefu Island, walked the Badagry Slave Route, saw the Slaves’ Spirit Attenuation Well (also known as the Well of Memory Loss), and made it to the Point of No Return (the beach was stunning!).

🔸 While in Badagry, I visited museums, but only had time to explore the Mobee Slave Relics Museum.

🔸 I explored the First Storey Building in Nigeria, where I saw the first Yoruba Translated Bible by Bishop Ajayi Crowther, and the Miracle Well located within the compound. I even got to enjoy tapioca with strangers under a tree! 😅

I’m hosting a camping trip to one of Badagry’s beautiful beaches, and I’d love for you to join. We’ll explore all the historical sites during the day and camp on the beach at night.

On this day in Badagry, I tried a new food: tapioc On this day in Badagry, I tried a new food: tapioca pudding. It’s made from tapioca pearls, which come from cassava starch.

At first, I thought it was pap, but it tasted more like poorly made pap mixed with ginger. 😅🍚

They served it hot with condensed milk, creamed milk, and groundnuts for N550. It wasn’t bad, but I don’t think I’d have it again.

This was a wholesome experience, sitting under a tree with four strangers at the first storey building in Nigeria, eating tapioca pudding together.❤️

Would you try it? Let me know! 🤔
